Black Dress and Pinata

One of the daughters of our friends in Xiabe came to town. She and Rebecca decided to go shopping and look at cloths. They returned with a dress for Rebecca to wear for Christmas.

Rebecca getting ready for the party.

Arriving at the party, Christopher and Johnny are shocked to learn that they will be expected to dance, with girls no less.

So they get a crash course in dancing from their mother.

Dancing commences but the dance area is too dark for photographs. Soon it is time for the Pinata beneath the almond tree.

First the smallest children get a shot.

Next the older children and young adults attempt to burst the pinata.

Suddenly, the pinata has burst. Children race to the falling candy and by the time I can operate the camera several of the children are already racing away with their loot.
