This should be the latest picture from GEOS East satellite of the Western Atlantic.

We are about 8 miles South of Chetumal, Mexico. I have drawn a pointer to us on the map below. That map does not reflect the current weather situation.

More images can be found here under Atlantic Views.

At this page under Atlantic Floaters often can be found satellite images centered on important named storms.

The Satellite Services Division of NOAA has a very good web page with a good selection of images of the Western Atlantic here.

At Weather Underground you can find under Atlantic storm advisories: tracking maps, computer model predictions, advisories, discussion and more.

At the Navy/NRL Tropical Cyclone page, you can look for the storm on the left, click on it and get very accurate information and predictions.

At the Belize National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) web page you can find information about current alerts and news about disaster response.

A local radio station that stayed on the air throughout Hurricane Dean is LoveFM.
You can listen to their radio broadcast over the internet here.
